作者简介

艾兰・拉斯金出生于密耳瓦基市，曾就读于威斯汀康辛大学，主修艺术。1966年，她放弃广告设计工作，从事儿童书的写作以及插图。她的第一本书是《我家附近从无新鲜事》，至今仍颇受欢迎。之后，她又写了15本图画书，颇受好评。艾兰的作品篇幅，随着她的读者群一同成长，她开始从事长篇小说创作。她的作品“Figgs&Phantoms”,荣获1975年美国纽伯瑞银牌奖，而本书《威斯汀游戏》“The Westing Game”则荣获1979年美国纽伯瑞金牌奖。艾兰的作品充满想象力，绝无自传的色彩，是美国著名的少年小说家。
