作者简介苏珊•谢尔曼，曾出任美国加利福尼亚州惠蒂尔市学院艺术系主任，美国前总统理查德•尼克松就曾读于该校。谢尔曼女士同时还是《天才魔女》少儿系列节目的创始人之一，该剧为迪斯尼频道有史以来推出的最为成功的电视节目之一。《小俄罗斯》一书是谢尔曼女士的小说处女作。
