作者简介大卫•波德维尔（David Bordwell），生于1947年7月23日，美国杰出的电影理论家及作者，威斯康星大学麦迪逊分校传播艺术系名誉退休教授，电影研究雅克•勒杜教授，法国电影资料馆顾问。波德维尔是“认知电影理论”的创始人，并以其对小津安二郎、爱森斯坦等人的作者研究，电影叙事学，香港电影研究，电影风格史的研究而广受尊敬。并著有广受欢迎的《电影艺术》《世界电影史》《古典好莱坞电影》等。
张锦，四川大学文学学士，中国人民大学管理学硕士，北京电影学院文学硕士，英国布里斯托尔大学文学硕士、国家公派访问学者。现为中国电影艺术研究中心副研究员，中国电影家协会会员。
