作者简介A. 李·馬丁尼茲
出生於美國德州的艾爾帕索。十八歲那年開始寫小說，累積了十多份稿件，十三年後第一本小說《吉兒的恐怖餐廳》（Gil’s All Fright Diner）終於出版，並且獲頒美國圖書館協會艾力克斯文學獎（the ALA’s Alex Award，旨在選出適合青少年閱讀的成人文學作品）。他的嗜好包括變戲法、各種形態的遊戲，以及靈魂出竅。另外，自己開車時，他喜歡跟著電台音樂唱歌。
