作者简介

福特·马多克斯·福特（Ford Madox Ford, 1873—1939），英国小说家、诗人、评论家、编辑。他主编的杂志引领20世纪早期英语文学的发展，发表过乔伊斯、庞德、T.S.艾略特、D.H.劳伦斯、海明威等人的作品。《好兵》是福特的代表作，也是现代主义文学的杰作，与《尤利西斯》和《荒原》一同被视为具有突破性的实验作品。
