理查德•A•拉弗勒（Richard A. LaFleur）是美国古典学联盟主席（1984—1986）。他在杜克大学获得古典学博士学位，从1972 年起任教于佐治亚大学，并在那里担任北美洲最大的古典学项目之一的负责人长达21 年。拉弗勒教授著有《21 世纪拉丁语：从概念到课堂》等多部著作，并于1984 年获得美国语言学会“古典学杰出教育奖”。
