作者简介"佩内洛普•莱夫利（1933—）
英国作家，英国皇家文学学会会员、国际笔会会员，曾任英国作家协会（SoA）主席。
出生在埃及开罗，少年时代回到英国接受教育，毕业于牛津大学圣安妮学院。20世纪70年代开始文学创作。
1973年，《托马斯•肯普的鬼魂》荣获卡内基文学奖。
1977年，《通往利奇菲尔德之路》入选布克奖。
1984年，《据马克所说》再次入选布克奖。
1987年，《月亮虎》荣获布克奖。
2018年，《月亮虎》入围“金布克奖”短名单；在英国《卫报》读者评选“金布克奖”中，以票数高过第二名（《长日将尽》）、第三名（《七杀简史》）两倍多，高居榜首。
2012年，获不列颠帝国爵士勋章（DBE）。"
