作者简介【作者】罗伯特·乔丹：
西方当代最伟大、最具影响力的奇幻作家之一，1948年出生于南卡罗莱纳州的查尔斯顿市。毕业于南卡罗莱纳的要塞军校，并获得了物理学学位。曾两度在驻越南美军中服役，获得了卓越飞行十字章、V字铜星章和两枚越南勇敢十字章。
身为一位历史旁好者，他撰写了许多舞蹈和戏剧 评论，但影响最大的还是奇幻史诗“时光之轮”系列，每一部都位列纽约时报排行榜前十名，全球总销量超过20000000册。
