作者简介威廉•巴勒斯（1914-1997），美国作家，与艾伦•金斯堡及杰克•凯鲁亚克同为“垮掉的一代”文学运动的创始者。被誉为“垮掉的一代”的精神之父和美国后现代主义创作的先驱之一。晚年涉足演艺界，创作流行歌曲，拍电影，绘画，还为耐克运动鞋在电视上做广告，几乎无所不为。主要作品有《瘾君子》《裸体午餐》、《贩毒者》《软机器》《爆炸的票》《新星快车》等。
