作者简介

沙希利•浦洛基（Serhii Plokhy），哈佛大学乌克兰史教授、哈佛乌克兰研究院院长。他生于俄罗斯，成长于乌克兰，专攻东欧思想、文化、国际关系史。浦洛基著有《大国的崩溃：苏联解体的台前幕后》（The Last Empire: The Final Days of the Soviet Union）、《欧洲之门：乌克兰2000年史》（The Gates of Europe: A History of Ukraine）、《斯拉夫民族之起源》（The Origins of the Slavic Nations）等十部专著，所获众多奖项包括美国乌克兰研究学会著作奖、表彰俄罗斯思想文化史佳作的新历史奖，以及非虚构类标杆奖项莱昂内尔•盖尔伯奖。
