作者简介路德维希·冯·米塞斯（1881-1973），20世纪著名的经济学大师，卓越的自由主义思想家。奥地利学派第三代掌门人，朝圣山学社成员。自由意志主义运动的主要代表人物，也是促成古典自由主义复苏的学者。被誉为是“奥地利学派的院长”。2000年被美国《自由》杂志评为“自由至上主义的世纪人物”。
