This very important work offers penetrating dialogues between the great spiritual leader and the renowned physicist that shed light on the fundamental nature of existence. Krishnamurti and David Bohm probe such questions as ‘why has humanity made thought so important in every aspect of life? How does one cleanse the mind of the ‘accumulation of time’ and break the ‘pattern of ego -centered activity’? 作者简介克里希那穆提（J.Krishnamurti 1895—1986）：印度著名哲学家，20世纪最受推崇的心灵导师，是与20世纪60年代开始的“新时代运动”（New Age Movement，又称“东西文化合流运动”）紧密相关的思想大师，在西方有非常大的影响。他主张真理纯属个人了悟，一定要用自己的思考来照亮自己。他经常教导学生：只有洞察这充斥着暴力和冲突的外部世界，才能真正懂得自己；只有脱离尘世的法则，才能不为世俗生活所累。
他一生都在帮助人类从恐惧中彻底解脱，体会生活的真正乐趣。他的四十余本著作，全部由演讲和谈话集结而成，目前已被译成47种文字出版，在欧美、印度及澳洲产生了广泛而深远的影响。国内已经翻译引进过他的多部作品。
