安·泰勒于1941年生于明尼苏达州，在北卡罗来纳州长大。她创作了二十多部小说，其中《呼吸课》获得了1989年的普利策奖，而这本《一卷蓝色的线》入围了2015年布克奖的短名单。安·泰勒是美国艺术文学院成员，现居住于马里兰州的巴尔的摩。
译者简介
李育超，毕业于北京大学英语语言文学系。曾翻译过几十种译著，其中包括《曲终人散》《毛姆散文》《老人与海》《幻世浮生》和《杀死一只知更鸟》等。此外还翻译了上百种儿童绘本和儿童文学作品。
